Quiet morning scene with books and warm light

Newborn sleep is not broken adult sleep. Understanding what it actually is removes about half the anxiety.

Newborn sleep is not adult sleep

Where families get stuck

Almost always at the point of change - a new room, a new caregiver, illness, travel, or a developmental leap. The fix is rarely a new method. It is returning to the old one long enough for the child to recognise it.
