Trust & Governance
Editorial and medical review policy.
Medical credibility should be checkable, not assumed. This is how content here is made.
Who writes this content
All health content is written or directly supervised by Dr. Henry Ukpeh, a practising pediatrician. Author credentials appear on every medical article.
How it is reviewed
Medical articles carry a 'last medically reviewed' date. Content is re-read on a rolling schedule and whenever national guidance changes. Where guidance differs between countries, that is stated rather than smoothed over.
Sources
Where an article relies on specific guidance, the source is named - typically national pediatric societies, public health agencies or peer-reviewed literature. We do not cite anonymous secondary summaries.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, we want to know. Corrections are made promptly and noted on the article.
Education is not individual advice
Everything published here is general education. It cannot account for your child's history, examination or circumstances. Individual medical advice comes only from a clinician who has assessed your child.
Independence
No article is written in exchange for payment. Any commercial relationship, partnership or sponsorship would be disclosed clearly at the top of the relevant page.
Claims
No outcome is guaranteed, no cure is promised, and uncertainty is described as uncertainty.
Medical disclaimer. The content on this website is general educational information and does not constitute individual medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult your own physician or local health service about your child. In an emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
